Happy Holidays from CCT! Here’s the original Spanish language version of Rene Cardona’s wacked-out holiday classic Santa Claus (1959).
Okay, how much do I love this movie? Even without the insightfully snarky MST3K comments, this movie is just too good (I mean bad) to be true. Every single moment is jam packed with bad movie awfulness! In today’s installment, Dr. Lamont seduces our beefy hero with a erotic hula-hoop dance and Kalgon initiates the first of the films go-kart chases.

To celebrate the upcoming birthday of John Phillip Law (9/7), we’ll be posting daily installments of one of his most dubious efforts, Space Mutiny (1988). With it’s copious use of stock footage (classic Galactica anyone?) and spandex-attired cast, Space Mutiny gives new meaning to the phrase “bargain basement sci-fi schlock”. Die hard fans of MST3K will likely recognize the film from one of the more memorable episodes of the long-running series, though the clips posted here will not feature the witty comments of Mike and the ‘bots. Space Mutiny also includes the star of our are last CCT Theatre feature, none other than Yor himself, Reb Brown. In part one of Space Mutiny, the cackling Cmdr. Kalgan (Law) sabotages the space vessel “Southern Sun” as its crew searches for a new planet to call home.

In the final instalment of Yor: The Hunter From the Future, our hero escapes the clutches of the Overlord, kicks some robot ass, does some fancy trapeze swingin’ and foils the Overlords plot.
Today in Yor: The Hunter From the Future, our hero reunites with Ka-Laa and learns the Overlords diabolical plans for him.
In part 7 of Yor: The Hunter From the Future, Yor heads into Flash Gordon territory when he’s shipwrecked on a futuristic island that’s controlled by the evil Overlord.
In today’s episode of Yor: The Hunter From the Future, Yor saves cavegirl Tarita from a dinosaur and sets sail in search of the people who attacked Tarita’s seaside village.
In part 5 of Yor: The Hunter From the Future, Roa joins Yor’s posse (much to Ka-Laa’s displeasure) and, after an attack by the purple bad guys, tells Yor to look towards the sea for the origins of his people.
