You may have noticed that the CCT Theatre feature we’ve been running for the past week has suddenly disappeared. I’m sad to report that Johnny Guitar has been removed from YouTube, forcing an abrupt end to our posts. But, never fear. Those of you who are new to the Johnny Guitar phenomenon (or even those who are die hard fans of this whacked-out western and just can’t get enough of pistol-packin’ Joan) will get a chance to view the film in its entirety on the 31st when Johnny Guitar will air on TCM at 11:30am EST.

The one-of-a-kind western cult classic Johnny Guitar (1954) will air Saturday 3/7 on TCM at 6pm est. It will play again on 3/31 at 11:30am. Be sure not to miss it as Johnny Guitar is still not available on DVD. Since co-stars Joan Crawford and Mercedes McCambridge both celebrate birthdays this month, now seems the perfect time to show Johnny Guitar here on the blog. Starting Monday, we’ll post the movie in daily installments as part of our continuing CCT Theatre series.
